I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen. Not just me - many have tried to tell you. But you were so quick to judge us. So quick to label us. You didn't want to hear the truth because, like an ostrich with it's head in the sand, you thought that what you chose not to see couldn't hurt you.

Though this AP News article reminds us that the H1N1 "swine flu" is no more dangerous than the regular seasonal flu, a company in Florida is working on an implantable biometric device to monitor your bloodstream for signs of infection. Presumably to eliminate this non-threat.

They want to inject an RFID chip into your body to monitor you for signs of illness, in order to halt the spread of the "global pandemic" that has turned out to not really be that much of a threat after all. Which is what I tried to tell you back in April, but you didn't want to hear it. I was just the kooky paranoid conspiracy theorist back then.
Funny thing is, all I did then was tell you that it really isn't that big of a deal, and they're making us panic for nothing. I didn't even suggest that they might be engineering the panic in order to try to force us to accept an implanted microchip. That would have been almost too far out there for me to really believe, a few months ago.

With some states passing legislation that would allow them to imprison you for up to thirty days and fine you up to $1,000 a day for refusing "swine flu" vaccination, the idea of being similarly forced to accept an implanted chip to monitor for infection doesn't seem so ridiculous anymore.
But I know you are sitting there shaking your head in pity that I could be so deluded and irrational to fear the government. After all, you point out, they're only trying to protect us. And I know that nothing I show you will change your mind. I guess Elmo already brainwashed you.
Let me know how that microchip implant works out for you, okay. That is, if you survive the vaccine. I'm not willingly taking either one.
